(L.A. Crews)-what u write???.

(FAMER)-FAMER one

. (L.A. Crews)-what crews r u from???.

(FAMER)- FAME CITY TEAM

.(L.A. Crews)-how did your crew(s) get started???.

(FAMER)-Back in Virgil junior high, in L.A., it was originally named "Famous city taggers" my boy RANGE and I decided to rename it, we added the qoutes at the ends so people could distinguish us from any one else, and to this day very few crews share this style.

. (L.A. Crews)-how did u get your nickname????.

(FAMER)- .I use to ditch school alot, and at home I use to watch that show "FAME" on t.v., and as time passed I just added the "R" at the end.

.(L.A. Crews)- what year did u begin to write?????.

(FAMER)- 1983 or 1984...not sure

(L.A. Crews)- How did u get started in graff????.

(FAMER)- Just like the sign of the times, I was a break dancer, and when I saw my little homies tagging it wasn't long till I started. Mainly on school walls till eventually the streets of L.A.

. .(L.A. Crews)- what did/do u like to write with?????.

(FAMER)- At first it was sharpies and even crayons....then I was introduced to meanstreaks and krylon, and scribers really did a nice job too.

.(L.A. Crews)- who did u see up back in the oldschool days???.

(FAMER)- The original O.G.'s.......Miner WCA, Wisk, Snap, Frame, Prime, Price OTR, Panic, Skill, Swan, Game, Mandoe MAK UTI, FB, KGB, KWS, HB

.(L.A. Crews)- whats your favorite colors to do pieces with or bomb with????.

(FAMER)- RAIDER colors SILVER and Black

.(L.A. Crews)- do u still write????.

(FAMER)- No....but I still visit the belmont tunnel and tag every now and then.

.(L.A. Crews)- Did u ever hit buses ?what lines did/do u kill???.

(FAMER)- Hell yeah......the 200, 420, 1, 2, 3, 4, 20, 33, 40.....to many to name , lets just say I would walk around downtown L.A. and bomb all the buses!

.(L.A. Crews)- any beef with anyone or any crews?????.

(FAMER)- Nah....in our time when people battled, it was settled on a wall, we did have a grudge with TNT, but it never got violent, although, one time some of those fools surrounded PRER and I at a taggers meeting, it must of been about ten guys talking head to us, thats when& nbsp;I realized that we had some beef.

.(L.A. Crews)- do u have any graffiti stories u would like to share????.

(FAMER)- One time when a bunch of us headed out to mob the cal state L.A. tracks I was so high that I couldn't even see straight, so when I ran across one set of lanes of the freeway onto the center divider, right before I almost entered this hole in a chain link fence that other writers made for access. I felt my homie literaly slam me backwards onto the pavement, because since I was so high, I failed to notice this car coming, if it weren't for him, I would've been splattered all over the 10 fwy.

.(L.A. Crews)- did u ever get caught????.

(FAMER)- lots of times...but I was always to fast to catch. Until this time when I was tagging on a garage door from some auto body place. Since the surface has grooves, as Im taging, my can is basically knocking on the wall, well I failed to notice this door on the side, some man came o ut and started to chase me, this guy wouldn't let up till he caught me, but before I could put up a fight, all I saw was a gun pointing at my dome.

.(L.A. Crews)- how has L.A. graf fiti changed from the oldschool days till nowadays???.

(FAMER)- The tagbangers. to many snapers, it use to be fun. I pretty much went anywhere and not have to worry, except for the cholos, but now, another taging crew can serve you!

.(L.A. Crews)- Have u ever battled anyone in graffiti?????if so who won????.

(FAMER)- the dynomite team.....no one can claim victory cause they brought an outside source for their piece, and we didn't end up finishing ours cause we wasted the rest of the paint on the 110 fwy.

. .(L.A. Crews)- Did u ever hit freeways?????.

(FAMER)- 101, 10, 110, 2, 5, 60, 405, 118

.(L.A. Crews)- any last words or shout outs?????.

(FAMER)- If your taging and have piecing skills, use that positive energy to your advantage, dont take for gran ted the gift of design. My homie ARCH is now successful in his drawings. Recognized by people in the community as well as in the music industry. He tagged and drew, he kept up with it and now he's in demand. Although tagging is a crime, art isn't, people like those that can decorate the streets of L.A. with murals are those that wont be forgotten, as well as admired by the new generation. The new era that needs to understand that If you choose to paint our walls for all of us to see, then choose to create something that will inspire someone else to draw and create, instead of tag and contaminate.
